1. Acceptance

By using UK Student Hub (ukstudenthub.com), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. This is a free community resource for international students — we've kept these terms as short as we reasonably can.

2. Who can use this

UK Student Hub is intended for use by people aged 18 or over (or with the involvement of a parent/guardian if younger). Information on the site is free for everyone to browse; creating an account and posting listings or making bookings requires you to provide accurate information.

3. The service we provide

UK Student Hub provides free guides and information for international students in the UK, a room/job/event listings marketplace (moderated by an admin before publishing), an airport pickup and accommodation-matching booking service, and a driver application system. Listings and driver services are provided by independent third parties (landlords, employers, event organisers, drivers) — UK Student Hub facilitates the connection but is not itself a letting agent, employer, event organiser, or licensed taxi operator.

⚠️ Always verify independently. We review listings before they go live, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of anything posted by a third party, or that a listed room, job, or event is genuine. Never send money, deposits, or share passwords/immigration documents with a landlord, employer, or anyone you meet through this site before verifying them independently. Never pay someone simply to be considered for a normal job.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account.
One account per person. Don't create an account impersonating someone else.
Information you provide (name, university, contact details) should be accurate.

5. Posting listings and content

All room, job and event listings are reviewed by an admin before they appear publicly — but approval is not a guarantee of accuracy, safety, or legitimacy.
You must not post false, misleading, fraudulent, discriminatory, or illegal content.
We may remove any listing or account, at our discretion, without prior notice, if it violates these terms or we reasonably believe it's harmful or fraudulent.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not: scrape or automate access to the site beyond normal browsing; submit spam or bulk/automated form submissions; attempt to access another user's account or data; attempt to bypass moderation, security controls, or rate limits; or use the site to harass, defraud, or mislead others.

7. Affiliate and referral links

Some pages (e.g. our Earn & Save page) contain referral links to third-party financial services. We may earn a commission if you sign up through them, at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for full detail.

8. No warranty, limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided "as is". We do our best to keep information accurate and moderation timely, but we make no guarantees about the accuracy, availability, or outcome of anything on the site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, your interactions with other users, landlords, employers, drivers, or third-party services linked from the site.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms, or suspend/discontinue any part of the service, at any time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
